Caroline (Film Festival)

This week on a Wednesday at 1:00 o’clock we had to line up and get ready to go to the busses and the bus driver had to drive us to the Cinemas in Sylvia Park. When we got there I rushed out of the bus, when I came out I saw poles standing up looking interesting. Finally we got into the theater when I saw people every single school were colourful even Pt England School.

“Yay!!!” I said to Huelo-ata and Brooklyn as they were was talking to me. After that when everyone sat down, the screen had come on then everyone screamed and yelled out “yay”. So when the intro came on Lepa and Matthew kept laughing at the girl that was on the screen.

So as the first movie played (Tamaki College) all the Tamaki people yelled out go “Nathanial” as he was talking, so when everyone yelled out to him I and Brooklyn couldn’t hear so we started moaning. The people began with yelling and screaming. When the movie played I saw 5 boys from our school and I got a fright because they in Tamaki’s movie.

“Phew” I was so excited to see the Pt England’s movie as the Tamaki College’s movie ended and the Pt England presenters went on the mini stage.“Lets go Pt England” my friends Huelo-ata and Brooklyn yelled out to the presenters from Pt England. When the movie started we saw the pictures apply. Up came the next presenters they were from St Pius they were loud and sharp as they were talking.
My favourite movie in the cinemas out off all off the movies was Room 18 from Pt England school also I like the Tamaki College One Direction. When I saw those movies I loved how the acted and danced also I love the way the do there facials in that movie. Those two movies were one of my favourite movies because I like it how they edit it and I like it how the act.


When all the movies finished I never knew we have to go but then I saw Mrs Lagitupu walk down the stairs. Then I followed her as she walked down the long stairs. Also when we got to the end off the stairs we ran out off the theater and then I started walking with my friends Mary-I and Senolita.

Athletics 2012......

I couldn’t wait when it was Athletics because I just wanted it to get out off my head. So when I came to school, my friend Mary said “I will come second” and I always say “no”. After that  I walked into the class and Mrs Lagitupu told me to come then I walked as fast as I could then she told me to give my hand then she wrote down 11 Tai.

Last week on Thursday we had an amazing sport event named Athletics. When I came school I was so nervous because I was too slow. Vanessa and I kept saying that Tainui was going to win. Also when we went to our first activity which was Javelin it was so interesting because I couldn’t even throw it properly.

Finally we went to high jump it was so funny because I couldn’t even make it in the first round but then I did the scissors then I made it over. Then it was the next persons turn which was Charlie when Charlie ran she got nervous and then she stopped. Soon when everyone got a turn we had to move on to our next activity, because we have finished our high jump.

After high jump we went sprinting. But then we got told off by Mr Jacobson because we went to early and we distracted them as they were running. After the 10 yr olds ran it was our turn to run. ''Im Scared'' I said to my friends “ it our turn” but then we got into our lanes after that we had to get started.

“ ON YOUR MARKS GET SET, GO”!!!!!!!!! bang went the clappers in Mr Jacobsen hands. All of them sprinted as hard as the cam. 1st came Serena 2nd came Vanessa and 3rd came Turuhira after their race it was time for my turn to run, “ON YOUR MARKS GET SET, GO”!!! bang went the clappers again I ran my fastest and then I came 2nd place. After the sprinting we had to go to the courts and wait for Mrs Vaafusuaga.

When Mrs Vaafusuaga came to the courts she called out the peoples names that had to race the parents. After that we had to walk down to the top field and see them racing each other. When all the racing was finished we had to line up and walk back to class.

Dr Ben Carsen

Today Tuesday the 6th of March 2012. We went to the Telstra Clear Centre, to see Doctor Benjamin Carson. He was a man that loved reading a long time ago and now he is a doctor.

When we got into the theater I just couldn’t believe how big it was. But the thing is we were lucky because we got to sit all the way at the top so we could see properly. Then we saw all different schools enter the main entry.

Finally we saw Doctor Ben Carson and his visitors enter through the door and sit on their seats.Then we saw a man walk on to the stage and he started with the word “Hi”. Then we all started to laugh because he sounded like a lady. At the end of his conversation he asked us if we were ready to see the man that we came to see.

But before we saw him Henry said we were going to watch a movie about Dr Ben Carson. Then the technicians played the movie and what we saw was Dr Ben Carson when he was a little child. “Here he comes” Mary said to me. Then we all suddenly gave him a big 10 second clap. He walked onto the stage and grabbed the microphone and started talking to us. Doctor Ben Carson said if we knew what THINK BIG stands for.

T stands for talent, H stands for honest, I stands for insight, N stands for nice, K stands for knowledge, B stands for books, I stands for in depth learning and G stands for God.


Now it’s time to go back to the bus. When we were walking back to our bus we got two different snacks and they were apples and up and go. And of we go back to the bus and go.

My Sisters Baby Boy!!!!!

On Sunday last weeek we all traveled to Middlemore hospital. We went there because she was getting her first baby.When we got there we went straight into the Pregnant unit.

When we got inside we saw the elevator so we ran inside it and pressed the number 2. Then we got out and saw the reception and asked them if they know where is Tamara Togafiti at. Now we got to go through the automatic doors and then we saw her room and then went inside.


Once we saw her she was crying and saying that she has a sour tummy. So we were looking for the emergency button then my brainy little nethew said to press the staff button. Finally the 2 ladies come and say what is going on then my mum said 'my daughter's blood is running.'

Afterthat we moved into another room. Then my sister said that she can't breath so then she had to take the pumper. Soon the nurse come's and says has to get ready for her baby to out................

FINALLY IT COMES OUT AND THEN WE GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to Parakai Springs

In the holidays I went to a wonderful place's called Parakai, Maratai and Mission bay it was fun but I am going to tell you about how I went to Parakai springs.
I went with my girl cousin and the church boys also my parents.


This was the first time I went to Parakai it fun but sometime boring. The only pool that I went in was the out side pool because it was hot and the was nice and cold. After a few minutes later me and the boys went on the hydroslide it was scary and fun.


"EATING TIME"! the boys shouted out to me and my cousins. After we ate we went inside the spa pool because it got cold when we got out of the pool. "Should we go to the hydroslide"! my cousin said.


"Ohhhhhhhh man its time to go" I whispered in my cousins ear. So we went for a long shower and put on our cloths and did our hair. Then we went back to the tent and eat again so that was a long day at Parakai.

The Story of William Tell

I have been reading a book about The Story of William Tell.

About seven hundred years ago, a man called William Tell lived in a place called Switzerland. He was one of the best archers , he won many contests. One day many soldiers went to his Village. He was forced to shoot the apple that was siting on his sons head.

Long Weekend

In the weekends I went to Ten pin bowling. I went with my family and friends.We all traveled by car.

As soon as we got there we got to go in laser strike it was fun after that we got 10 dollars each so we can play some games.
'Guys come get your shoes'! my mum shouted out to us. Everyone was having alot of fun.

The next few hours my parents asked if we were hungry so then we all went or a walk to Burger King and it was yummy. After that we all got into groups and then we all had a challenge of who is going first of playing pool table.At the end of playing pool table we had to see who had the most points also who ever wins they get another 10 dollars to play arcade game.

When we won the money we were playing some games then we had to see who would collect the most tickets.Then we all played basketball 'hahaha we won again' I whispered and laughed at the same time.


When we got home we all rushed to the pool table but especially the boys so mum said if we a going to fight we have to do a dance competition first. first it was the group that had won which was my cousin William so they started. Then my mum announced who won the dance and we all got shocked that it was my cousins team.



Finally everyone got dropped of home.................. THE END

My Nana

On Sunday we went to Mt Roskil Hospital. Because my Nana has a hole in her heart. I went with my mum, dad, sisters and brothers, we went by car, it was a big van.

We all rushed out said after my Nana talked to my mum. Once when we got there we were trying to find the ward. Mum shouted and said to the reception men ‘ Where is Venise Panina Togafiti’s ward’ The man replied ‘ward 31’

‘Now we have found the room’ said my sister. My Nana tried to sit up but she couldn't, so my cousin went to sit her up. It was really hard to see her sit up.

This was the only time that everyone of us had tears. Everyone couldn't stop crying mostly me mum and my sisters. I said something nice about my Nana after I said something nice about her, I couldn’t stop starring a her tears that a coming down her eyes and down to her mouth.

After that the nurse came in to take her for another x - ray
on her leg, she scared about what would happened to her leg. The nurse ran back to us and said ‘it is bad to let her walk because her bone has moved to a different place where it wasn’t suppose to’.So the nurse brought her back and her eyes going bruised.

Unfortunately the nurse said it’s time for every one to go home because not all of you could stay that long.

Alien earth base

I went through the window. Helping the spider. Also I have to get the cord for energy or I will die.

Carnival in GI

In GI there was a carnival on Saturday the last 2 weeks. I went with my friends they a Teanna, Taymore and Jasmine.

The 1’st thing I like was the Chinese dragon. They were walking down the streets. As they walk down the streets the Chinese people were dancing with their own music.


Last but not least my favorite one of all was Sri Lanka, they were good at dancing and they had cool costumes. Also they came in with their instruments. ‘What Ever’ yelled the Sri Lanka lady, she ran up and down the stage where they had to dance.


Finally we could go where ever we want to .

Exploding space ships

Caroline Polar Bear

Polar bears are the largest bear in the world. The Polar bears live up near the North Pole and live on ice.

Polar bears have thick hair to help them keep warm. The Polar bears has 4 strong legs , and sharp paws to help them walk on hard ice.

A Polar Bear Cub lives with it’s mum for two and a half years. The Polar Bear's mother helps protect the cub. They also live by them selves.

Polar Bears goes out to hunt for Seals for their meal. As the ice melt the Seal comes up the
breathing hole and the polar bear gets ready and grabs the Seal and eats it.

A Polar bear lives about 20 years. But a Polar bear that live in the zoo lives about 41 years.

Three types of dogs

There a three different dogs, the 1st dog i an Beagle, it an special dog because it could sniff
people that have food or drugs.

The 2nd dog is an poodle it's a very good fashion dog.

German Shepherd could be a good dog for an security, German Shepherd could be taken with police's

Rubgy World Cup

Samoa is Vs Namibia on Wednesday at Rotoroa I think Samoa is going to win. The score will be Samoa 32-22.

RWC Begins

On Friday, there was a spectacular celebration for the opening of 2011, New Zealand Rugby World Cup. A huge crowd enjoyed the ceremony either live or t.v.

The breath taking fireworks overwhelmed the crowd. As the fireworks shoot up in the air, it exploded like thunder, and came down like rain. All the fireworks had different colours and it was as bright as a the sun.


On Friday night it was All Blacks vs Tonga, all the crowd went wild, everyone went for both teams. In the first half Richard Kahui scored for NZ. We knew that NZ was going to win because the coach had picked all the good people to play.


Although the city struggled with the huge crowd, everyone agreed that the opening ceremony was a huge success.

Badminton

Telling you about how I felt in the first session of badminton is incredibly embarrassing because that was the fist time I have played badminton.
As I had my eyes and ears listening and seeing on Donna I was frustrated because I had no idea what was she talking about. While she was talking we were listening to the instructions, finally she said to get a racket and get a body to work with. After that she told us how to hold the handle of the racket but I could not even do it, it was so hard.
We all had to change around when she says a word. But then she said to come she showed us a cool thing it was to close yours eyes and bring the racket around your body comes under your legs and hit the shuttle. Donna says to come down again then we all went ‘know you need a partner to challenge you’ says Donna. When my partner comes and challenge me I was useless but I played hard to win.
‘Room 17 come back down’ she repeated to us again Donna showed us another trick to do it was very tricky. Everyone needed to try and hit the shuttle into the rubbish bin it was tricky. Donna said ‘The other kids on the left side of the hall is playing against the kids on the right hand of the hall, we all stood up and tryed our hardest then it was the left hand side of the hall turn but the right hand team lost but we had another challenge but we still lost.

New Zealand

Most of the tourists visiting NZ in September, are coming to see the RWC.

The tourists visiting NZ can do different activities and could have lunch at the restaurant at Auckland city. Also the visitors could go and see the idyllic beaches and hotels around NZ Auckland.

I believe that the rugby world cup 2011 tournament will benefit NZ economically and socially because, the good things about is the Government can send the money from the tournament to Christchurch. We could also benefit and money can come to PES community. Everyone needs to concentrate and focus when the ball is coming.
