Triathlon 2013

Yesterday afternoon after our lunch break Room 19 had to head over to the Rugby field to have our Triathlon Session with four tutors.
Running made me tired. Walking just made me lazy but jogging was fine with me. As I slid on my last one Mary started to laugh because she thought that I was cheating. Now I had to sprint to the transition area and put on my helmet and take my bike to the starting position.

Paddling my bike towards the transition just made me exhausted. As I put my bike back I ran around the field and ended up at the finish line, I felt so sleepy so then I walked back where the classes were. "Ms Tito are we going again?" I said to her then she replied " Yes". "Oh My Gosh," I said to myself. When all the girls finished their run it was time for the Room 19 boys turn to go.

On our last run through I cheated because I didn't even do my last slide. I felt so happy when I was coming first but then my helmet was broken I couldn't even put it on so I just came last because of the helmet. It was so awesome because I was coming last but when I ran I came fourth.

I felt overwhelmed when I did that short course but I was still proud but at the same time sleepy.

Fiafia Practise

This year the whole Pt England School has been picked to be in the group that they want by a form,we all have to go on Thursdays and Fridays to practises, well I picked Samoan group for my first choice and I am happy with it. Performing for the school aint hard you just have to practise and practise then you get better. Well Fiafia is coming up it is on April the 18th. As we go to practises we all have to have a tutor to teach you but my Fiafia tutor is Tiomai Nouata.

On our first practise which was probably in the last 5 weeks was pretty cool because we got to watch our tutor and her daughter Jay'lee go through the whole dance even the entrance isn't that amazing?. When we keep going to practises we get better and better because practising makes the Samoan culture perfect. And on our 4th week we got the whole dance and we even got some bites of the song.

This week has been awesome because our group just needs to learn the song then were all done we got the junior Samoan group to watch us dance. I am so overwhelmed and can't even wait until Fiafia night because the whole community might come and watch the students perform for their culture. Thanks to Tiomai Nouata for teaching the beautiful Samoan group we all love the dance and the uniform that you came up with.

Narrative story

One fine day my best friends ( Mary I, Serena, Jessica, Eleva, Alexandria and Vanessa) decided to go to walk down to the Lagoon pools in Panmure. As they were deciding to walk I was deciding on what were we going to eat. So then we all came up with an amazing idea.

Before we even started walking we all had to trip in 5 dollars to pay our food and drinks. So when we all brought out money they all handed it to me to look after. Finally we started walked to Glen Innes Centre.

When I got out the money I told them to get whatever they wanted so I just grabbed me some Pods. “Holey sharks thats a lot” I said then I grabbed it and put it on the counter but lucky there was enough money to get that much food. As we walked out off the shop I brang out my Pods and shared it.

When we got to Panmure almost at the pools I got tired and dehydrated so then I got out the Mountain Dew and had a long drink. As  Serena was walking she didn’t even get tired but lucky we made it there at the same time. Soon as we got there we got changed and jumped in the deep and cold pool.

As we jumped in we had a lot of fun and played heaps of games but first we played tiggy Alexandria was in. Alexandria was mean because she wouldn’t even go for someone else but the only person that she kept on going for was Jessica then Mary started to moan cause it felt like it was only them two playing.

So when we finished our 2 hour swimming which was fun we had a feed and jogged back to Rowena where Mary, Jessica, Alexandria and Serena lived but in different houses. As we were jogging we all got thirsty but there was no more drinks and we couldn’t even find a water felton.

Finally I walked to my house and had a long sleep. Isn’t it just amazing when you go with your best friends?. I felt very lazy and relaxed when I got to my house.

When the movie (SAW) finished Mary dropped me off home. And when she was walking she saw 5 drunk people acting crazy so then she saw the Cemetery then she ran through there but then she accidentally stood on one off the graveyards then an old lady came up and held Marys hand tight then Marys face turned red and one eyeball came out and she had no way out cause she had only one eyeball left.

RESOLUTION: HOW THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED
Luckily Mary found her way home so then she was running all over the place but then her mum saw her and called out to her “My daughter Mary over here” then her mum came and dragged her home and called the ambulance and when they arrived they saw her eye then they got scared but they still had to do their job fix her eye so they went back to the Cemetery and got her eyeball and put it back on.

ENDING: WHAT HAS COME FROM THE EXPERIENCE

Cook Island Dance In Assembly...

When the clock hit 8:45 today Room 19 had to come back to class and get ready for school assembly. As we walked into the breeze I looked in the hall and there were a lot of drums and sticks. As I was leading the class to the seats I got confused because Kitiona and Richard were already there.

Finally it was time for the performances I was just getting tired because I had to sit and concentrate on our principal Mr Burt. " Oh My Gosh my ears are hurting cause of this" I said to Mosa. When my ears were hurting the Cook Island Drummers went even louder and I couldn't even handle it.

"Go Kimberly" I shouted out to the dancers. I never knew that those girls could dance like that, that was just amazing. When I was watching I just saw them going down the stage but when I looked up there was one more girl.

"Gnaw is it finished" I said to my self then it got even boring when they finished there dance. I just felt so proud when two students from our school performed for there culture.
